The Professional Side
Hello, my name is Dr Ben. Please feel free to call me, Ben! I have been in the dental field since 2009. I was born in Richmond and grew up in Chesterfield. Dr. Liz and I have owned Chester Road Family Dental since 2016, and in 2021, we acquired Dinwiddie Dental.
Growing up, I dreamed of being a rock star! In my younger life, I played guitar in a few bands and still enjoy playing it today. I completed my undergrad degree at Virginia Tech. After undergrad, I worked at Enterprise Rent a Car. Through this job, I met Liz when she was finishing dental school. She introduced me to the field, and I completed dental school at VCU in 2014. Since dental school, I have completed over 500 hours in implant education and countless hours studying occlusion. I even had the honor of being mentored by the local legend Dr. Wayne Browder, DDS. He helped me further understand dental occlusion and the temporomandibular joint. He lived to serve others, and I was very fortunate to have known him. Currently, I am exploring the relationship between oral and systemic health.
The Personal Side
Liz and I have been blessed with 4 amazing kids. When we aren’t at our kids’ sports, we love spending time at the James River and exploring new places. Other passions of mine include holiday inflatables and gardening.
